Don Geronimo got his first work at WRWC in Rockton, Illinois in the age of 14, in stereo. As his career accelerated but growing never stopped.
At Fun Lovin’ 13Q Don was around and out the atmosphere in the major industry of Pittsburgh, by the age of 16. In Nyc, he was working at seventeen, doing the night shift at 99X. Then he got fired. Again. And began the climb all the way backup radio stations ladder.
From 1977-1979 Don worked in Providence, RI, Indianapolis, and Detroit. From there it had been onto KIIS- WLS in Chicago then FM in Los Angeles. After going for mornings to WBBM-FM in Chicago, he relocated all over back to Washington DC in 1985.
The move to WAVA along with the beginning of Don’s boy more info Bart in ’85 meant forget about moving for some time. After doing the day shift on WAVA, Don was transferred to mornings and combined with Mike O’Meara around the WAVA Morning Zoo thru 1991. At that time, Mike Show" & the renamed "Don moved to afternoons in DC and back to WJFK. The M & D show ran for more than 20 years, and at one position was syndicated to over 50 channels. Don retired from that exhibit in 2008, returning to radio this season at KHTK in Sacramento. He stayed there of 36 months, until he was shot. Once again!

Don continues to produce his secret everyday via packages and live streaming. Don won the Billboard Air Personality Of The Entire Year in 1978 (medium markets), and again in 1981 (key markets) and 1984 (major markets).
